How it works

  • Support Coordinator, OT, another specialist or participant reaches out. We confirm the participant has "Finding and Keeping a Job" in their NDIS plan and schedule a free introductory call.

  • We explore the participant's strengths, interests, and aspirations using tools like DISC profiling and career coaching strategies to identify realistic and motivating career goals.

  • We build or improve their resume, cover letter, LinkedIn profile, and selection criteria responses. Interview practice and confidence coaching are woven throughout.

  • We actively assist with job searching, reach out to employers on the participant's behalf, and liaise with disability-specific employment programs and training providers.

  • When a role or training pathway is secured, we stay involved to ensure a smooth transition and a sustainable outcome.

Career goal setting

Identifying realistic, motivating career goals matched to the participant's strengths, lifestyle needs, and aspirations. Career coaching modalities and DISC Psychometric profiling (optional) to give participants self-knowledge and confidence.

CV & cover letter

Building professional application documents from scratch, or refreshing existing ones to reflect the participant's true potential, including LinkedIn for online presence.

Interview prep

Practising answers, building confidence, and preparing for specific roles - including mock interviews tailored to target industries.

Employer Outreach

Reaching out to employers on the participant's behalf, and connecting with disability-specific employment and training programs.

  • CareerMe is complementary to Disability Employment Services (DES) providers. Where DES focuses on placement volume and compliance, CareerMe provides tailored, in-depth coaching that builds the participant's confidence, skills, and self-awareness - making them a stronger candidate for any placement pathway.

  • We work face-to-face across the Gold Coast, Brisbane, and Tweed Heads / Northern Rivers region, as well as via Teams for participants who prefer remote sessions.

  • Every participant is different. Some are job-ready in a few sessions; others benefit from longer engagement across several months. We tailor the pace and scope to what the participant needs.
